Midday on sunny days is less ideal because the mountains often look washed out from smoky haze. For proposals, the easy access is a huge plus. This location is less then 10 minutes drive form downtown Gatlinburg.

There is a short, easy walk of about 0.1 miles, so it still feels accessible without being right beside a parking lot.
