Mountain weather can change quickly. If conditions are unsafe or heavy rain is expected, we can adjust timing or reschedule. But I am ready with shooting under light rain or snow – they provide most magical moments in the mountains!
Can we bring our dog?
Yes — many couples include their pets. Just let me know in advance so we can choose a suitable location.
Do we need a permit in the Smoky Mountains?
Yes. If your ceremony takes place inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a Special Use Permit is required, even for ceremonies with just two people. After booking your session, I’ll send you the information and the link to apply for the permit, and I can help you choose a location that you will love!
Can we write our own vows?
Absolutely. Many couples choose to write personal vows, which makes the ceremony feel even more meaningful.
How do we choose the best location?
After booking, I’ll recommend locations based on scenery, based on the list of permitted locations from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Can we include a first look or portraits before the ceremony?
Yes. Many couples like to include portraits before or after the ceremony, especially in the adventure elopement package.
